Accessibility Statement

This is the accessibility statement for the coesports.gg website of the Center of Expertise in Esports in Central Finland project, coordinated by Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences.

The accessibility statement applies to the service published in 2023 at www.coesports.gg. The service is subject to the law on the provision of digital services, which requires that public online services must be accessible. This website must comply with the WCAG 2.1 criteria at the AA level.

Accessibility status

We conduct our own regular accessibility assessments for the website. The website’s accessibility was evaluated on January 31, 2024.

According to our assessment, our website meets the WCAG 2.1 criteria at the AAA level. We identify accessibility issues, for example, using the Siteimprove program, and continuously correct any accessibility shortcomings found in the website and its content.

We have instructed our content producers to consider accessibility and organize training for them to maintain and improve the accessibility of our web pages.

Please inform us about the accessibility issue, and we will do our best to correct it. We welcome suggestions, observations, questions, and improvement proposals related to the accessibility of the coesports.gg website coordinated by Jamk, which can be sent via email to esports[a]jamk.fi.

We will respond to feedback related to accessibility within 14 days. If you are not satisfied with the response you receive or if you do not receive a response at all within the specified time, you can report your observations to the Regional State Administrative Agency for Southern Finland.
